International Logistics Procedure

For cross-border e-commerce sellers who have just entered the industry, they may not know much about the steps of international logistics. Today, Yifan will introduce what international logistics is, what are the specific operating steps and what are the characteristics.
International logistics is the legal movement of goods between different countries. The main purpose is: to select the best way and path for international trade and transnational business services, the quality and quantity of goods timely distributed from a country's supply side to the demand side of the destination country.
The specific operation steps of international logistics are as follows:
I. Consult international Freight forwarders for freight quotation, payment method, delivery warehouse address, company service process, timeliness and safety issues, etc. For example, Truck Freight&Rail Freight is selected to ensure timely solution of problems encountered.

2. The shipper shall provide detailed information of the goods, such as product name, weight, package size, recipient information, etc

Iii. After receiving the goods, the warehouse shall carry out weighing → classification → measurement → ordering → pasting → bagging → loading, and finally send the goods to the port/airport

Vi. After the goods arrive at the local customs, they will be examined, inspected, collected and finally released.
1. Document review: The customs shall examine the goods and provide documents according to the declaration information.
2. Inspection: The customs shall carry out spot inspection on the goods to avoid the entry of contraband into the local area.
3. Tax collection: The customs collects taxes according to the categories of goods and in accordance with local national laws and regulations.
4. If the goods are OK after the above inspection, they will be released and handed over to the corresponding customs clearance company or customs broker.

Vii. The customs clearance agent shall deliver the goods to the delivery agent after receiving them.
Viii. The delivery agent shall deliver the goods according to the presentation sheet.
Ix. Goods have been signed and received.
